This is seriously one of the best basic chili recipes out there! i got this from a better homes & gardens cookbook that i have been making for years and added a few ingredients of my own!. This is a smokey, spicy recipe i derived from an old recipe in better homes and gardens. you can reduce the chipotles if you dont like spicy food, but dont omit them, as they add most of the smokey flavour.. I was looking for a chili con carne and came across this recipe. had the cookbook which i loaned to a friend this is one of the better chili recipes i've.
